How it works
How PulseTrader works.
A rules-based spot trend strategy that runs on your own exchange account. It buys strength, sizes by risk, and steps aside when there is nothing to trade. No leverage, no borrowing, no guesswork.
The four steps, every cycle.
The software repeats the same loop around the clock. Nothing is discretionary, the same inputs always give the same action.
Scan
Checks a short list of major coins and measures whether each is in a genuine uptrend, using a longer-term trend filter plus a shorter-term momentum turn.
Enter the trend
When the trend and the momentum turn agree, it buys the coin on the spot market. It does not try to predict tops or bottoms, it follows what is already moving.
Size by volatility
Each position is sized by how volatile the coin is. A calmer coin can take a larger slice, a wilder one takes less, so no single coin dominates the risk.
Exit on stop or flip
It rides the move with a trailing stop, banks profit when a target is hit, and exits fully if the trend flips down. Then it waits in cash for the next setup.
What it trades
- Spot only, you own the actual coin
- A short list of major, liquid coins
- Long or flat, it buys strength or sits in cash
- Sits in cash when nothing is trending
What it does not do
- No futures, no leverage, no borrowing
- No shorting, it does not bet on prices falling
- No withdrawals, the key cannot move your funds
- Not managed, we never trade your account for you
Built-in safeguards.
The strategy is designed to cut losers and let winners run, with guards that act without you having to watch.
Trailing stop
Every position carries a stop that follows the price up, so a winning trade gives back only a limited amount before it exits.
Crash stop
A wider hard stop closes a position quickly in a sharp drop, before a normal trailing exit would trigger.
Alerts
You get a notification each time it buys or sells, with the coin, the amount and the reason, so nothing happens silently.
