Contact / privacy enquiries: info@pulsetraderpro.com
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. The short version
Your trading stays on your computer. We do not collect your API keys, your balances, your positions, your trade history, or your profit and loss. We could not show you your own portfolio if you asked us to — we simply do not have it.
What we do collect is limited to what is needed to sell you a subscription, validate your licence, and answer your emails.
2. What we collect
2.1 Information you give us
| What | Why | When |
|---|---|---|
| Email address | Send your download link, licence and service notices | Download form |
| Name | To address you correctly | Download form (required) |
| Mobile number | Support and service contact | Download form (required) |
| Which platform you use | To send the right installer (Mac or Windows) | Download form, detected automatically |
| That you accepted these terms, and when | Record of your consent | Download form |
| Billing details | To take payment | Subscription |
Payment card details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe) — not by us. We receive only a confirmation of payment and a subscription status.
2.2 Information the Software sends us
When the Software checks your licence, it transmits only:
- your licence key; and
- a machine identifier — a SHA-256 hash derived from your device name and platform, truncated to 32 characters. It is hashed specifically so your device name (often a person's name) never leaves your computer. It lets us enforce the device limit.
It receives back only {valid, tier, expires_at}.
The Software also asks our server which version is the latest, so it can tell you when an update is available. That request contains no information about you.
Those are the only things the Software sends us. No account data, balances, positions, orders, P&L, strategy settings or API credentials are transmitted at any time.
2.3 What we deliberately do NOT collect
- Your exchange API keys. They are encrypted on your own computer (file permissions restricted to your user) and sent only to your exchange. We never receive them.
- Your funds or crypto. We never take custody.
- Your trading activity, balances, positions or performance.
- Telegram credentials. If you enable Telegram alerts, your bot token and chat ID are stored on your computer and messages go directly from your computer to Telegram. They do not pass through us.
2.4 Website
Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and diagnostics.
3. Why we collect it
- To provide and support the Software and validate licences;
- To take payment and manage your subscription;
- To respond to your enquiries;
- To send service messages (outages, security, material changes);
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising.
4. Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us operate, each limited to what they need:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions | USA / Ireland |
| Brevo | Email delivery and contact list | EU (France) |
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Website and licence server | Singapore |
Where your information is stored — two different things
Your trading data never reaches us at all. Your API keys, balances, positions, orders and performance stay on your own computer. There is nothing to store, transfer or disclose, wherever our servers happen to be.
The limited contact and account information above IS held on our server, which is located in Singapore, and is shared with the processors listed above in the EU and the United States. Those are all overseas disclosures under APP 8, so we say so plainly. We take reasonable steps to ensure those providers protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
5. Marketing
If you download the app or subscribe, we may email you about the product. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by replying or emailing us. Service and security messages are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while you hold a subscription.
6. Security
- API keys and Telegram credentials are encrypted at rest on your machine, never on ours — the strongest protection available is simply not holding them.
- The Software rejects API keys that carry withdrawal permission.
- Traffic to our licence server and website is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Access to our systems is limited to the operator.
No system is perfectly secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and billing records: while you are a customer, then 7 years for tax purposes;
- Contact enquiries and download records (including your consent record): 2 years;
- Server logs: 90 days.
8. Your rights
You may:
- Ask what we hold about you and request a copy;
- Correct anything inaccurate;
- Delete your information (subject to records we must keep by law);
- Opt out of marketing;
- Complain if you think we have mishandled your information.
Email info@pulsetraderpro.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).
9. Children
The Software is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or on the website.
