Up and running in minutes.

PulseTrader runs on your own computer and connects to your own exchange account with a key that can trade but cannot withdraw. It starts in practice mode — nothing is placed until you choose to go live.

We never hold your funds, never see your keys, and never trade your account.

Step 1

Download and install

Download the app for your computer and open it. On Mac OS the first launch may show a security prompt — that is normal for a newly published app; click Open.

Download the .dmg, drag PulseTrader Pro to your Applications folder, then open it.

Windows

64-bit Windows 10 and 11.

Your machine only

Nothing is hosted by us — the app and your keys live on your computer.

Step 2

Create a trade-only API key

PulseTrader connects to your own exchange account with an API key. It needs permission to trade spot — and must not be able to withdraw. Pick whichever exchange you already use.

Bybit

  1. Log in and go to Profile → API.
  2. Create New Key → System-generated API Key.
  3. Enable Spot Trading (read & trade).
  4. Do NOT enable Withdraw, and skip Transfers.
  5. Copy the API Key and API Secret — the secret is shown only once.

OKX

  1. Log in and go to Profile → API keys.
  2. Create V5 API key.
  3. Permission: Trade (spot).
  4. Do NOT enable Withdraw.
  5. You will set a passphrase — write it down, OKX will not show it again. Then copy the API Key and Secret.

Step 3

Connect it in PulseTrader

Open PulseTrader, choose your exchange on the connect screen, then paste your API Key and API Secret (plus the passphrase if you are on OKX), and click Connect. Your key is encrypted and stored on your machine — it is never sent to us. If a key with withdrawal permission is entered, it is rejected on the spot.

Step 4

Watch it in practice

By default PulseTrader runs in practice mode: it shows exactly what it would buy and sell on live prices, but places no real orders. Take as long as you like. When you are ready, switch to live from Settings — and switch back any time.
